Emily J. Daniell received her law degree from Western New England University School of Law in May 2008. Ms. Daniell focuses her practice on employment law including workplace discrimination based upon age, disability, gender, gender identity, pregnancy, race/color/national origin, religion, sexual harassment and sexual orientation, as well as retaliation, wage and hour/overtime issues, and landlord/tenant law. Following law school, she practiced at a small employment law firm concentrating on employee discrimination and sexual harassment cases before joining Farber and Lindley, LLC as an associate. She has represented clients before the Massachusetts Superior, District and Housing Courts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and at the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.
During law school, Ms. Daniell received the honor of Best Brief Award in her first year Legal Research and Writing class, and she also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in First Amendment Rights, Trial Methods, and International Environmental Law. During her last year of law school, she served as a legal intern at Western Mass Legal Services in Northampton,Massachusetts, working in the employment/benefits unit assisting low-income clients obtain unemployment insurance benefits.
Ms. Daniell earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Hampshire College and was admitted to the Massachusetts bar in December 2008 and to the bar of the United States District Court, District of Massachusetts, in March 2009.
